Though I beg to differ on some of those skills. Inferno and Thunder Spear are both skills that I would max. Rangers have a pretty balanced 3rd job; that's why there's still an ongoing debate over which of (Thrust / MB / Inferno / Hawk) should be maxed.
I actually think Outlaws have the worst third job skill setup, because they hand us three skills that are prerequisites to important 4th job skills (Octo, Gav, and Homing), and most people would leave Homing at 11 if it wasn't required for Bullseye.

How is it that bad if you're going to max all except for one of those anyway? You really don't have anything else to put it on, and i don't think people would max flash fist or grenade over having more damage whenever they hone in on a boss...

Because the game never tells you that you need to max any of them. It's not like we have shield mastery or something absolutely and undeniably useless; there is a lot of potential room to screw up your build if you aren't completely informed about the prerequisites in 4th job.
If Pirates had existed before 4th job, I would almost certainly have maxed Gaviota and Ice and left Homing at 11. I would have had to reset 19 3rd job SP.

Oh i see. I've always wondered why they didn't tell you in the skill description that a certain level of the skill is required for the next jobs skill.
Then again, who's playing maple that doesn't know about/refer to a guide at some point? The very least someone they know does, so skill requirements are common knowledge. o_o

Same guy using Shockwave.
I still don't like it, I think it'd be better to do Snatch-Dragon anyway.
There's also some Blast usages in the beginning if any of you are still wondering about its speed.

Ehh... I like the screw punch -> d strike -> screw punch combo best.
Finally got to see barrage while transformed though. Wowww blast is insane. Oh and it looks like they fixed the energy attack thing while transformed. They still have their normal speed.

That screw punch -> DS -> BSB -> DS -> screw punch maneuver he did at the end was pretty ridiculous. With SP -> DS -> SP what happens is the monsters aren't moved by the second SP so i'd imagine this one would leave less room for repositioning error. :/ Plus, you get some stuns in there.
Lol @ transform at the end though.
Also, i want time temple for this map now. :[

Oh god...... the new Energy Blast actually being demonstrated during Dragon Strike. So fast! I don't think that's SSK speed anymore. Looks like Drain/Flash Fist speed. X.x
Shockwave was impressive, but it's more a treat for those who maxed Shockwave. Me, I could substitute Energy Blast or Snatch for Shockwave and it'd still work wonderfully.

He did that first combo a few times in the first video. I try to use the same combo, but instead of using d strike after the 2nd screw punch, I have to use blast -> drain since we don't have the updates yet. The only place I can really use it at is gaurdians since everywhere else is pretty much already dead before I can keep the combo going. Gaurdians keep sealing me in the middle of it though so it's kind of annoying .

Can guardians seal through invincibility frames? o_o Doubt you would know yet, but meh.
I wonder how the exp/money loss would compare between guardians and this place for melee classes. Anyone know their exp:hp ratio/values? :/

There's an easy way for me to find out. Just keep spaming screw punch and see if I end up getting sealed.

From Strategy Wiki:
HP/EXP ratio: 19.9
HP/EXP Ratio: 19.97
CG's ratio is 19.6
Not sure which place is the best. CGs is a more confined area, but they seal up and have less total spawn. So far, it's not confirmed if invincibility frames nullify getting sealed. Time Temple place is bigger, but there is no sealing and mobbier. Damage is more predictable and low range of damage (saw peak 4k hit from those Time Temple knights).

Just tested it. I got sealed pretty easily. Did it like 6 times. Just sat and did screw punch until they sealed me (only took like 5 seconds before it sealed)

It's (un)official then. Time Temple is the next step-up training spot. Of course, I can imagine CGs will still be popular for Archers and during the "next" box event.

*crosses fingers for CWK 2*
If we can get gaurdian strength (I'd rather have 160k+ hp) monsters that don't seal, then we'll be golden.

Regarding the damage of the Time Temple mobs...
The numbers I'm getting from watching the videos is really inconsistent. In the Marksman video I saw a 40xx hit from what I assume is their magic attack, and touch damage has ranged between 2.5 and 1.5 with MG. This is the Oblivion Guards/Captains only.
Can anyone provide a rough table of how much damage each of the mobs do?

Well, in KMS, ALL Heroes, Vipers, and Shadowers train in that map. It's a very GODLY place to train, apparently.

Uh, i dunno about you, but confined usually means more kills per hour. You've seen rustys video right? He didn't really have to do much to get a big mob and he was hitting 5+ mobs almost constantly with dragon strike. There's no doubt CGs is the mobbiest map for us even with time temple. Obviously the pot cost is much less over there though, so i'd say it's an even split between the two. Especially with the chance of getting time ores or whatever for timeless stuff.

I'd take slightly less mobby, and non sealing, over CG's anyday. CG's would be the best map in the world if it wasn't for the friggin seal.

I really wouldn't give a pomegranate about that if you could mass incapacitate them. >_> And by that i mean snatch.
