What is the true meaning of love?
#1
Do you think as kids we know the true meaning of love, but as we grow older we forget that meaning?

Here's a video I made on what kids think about love.

What is your definition of love?

Someone who never tires of you. When I go to the park and see old couples walking together just talking away, I think to myself "how do they remain together for so long? I wish I could have that".

But of course, I can't. Frown

Lovely quotes.

Love is sacrifice: suffering so that someone else doesn't have to. Sounded like a few of the quotes there.

Love?
I'm not good enough with words to try.

But I will say that if it hurts, it isn't love. True love (ugh. I hate how cliche that is... but whatever) never hurts.

The cliche "The one that loves you for who you are" thing I guess.

Harrisonized has a good idea of what love is too, if you get bored of the person, they weren't really your love.

Dedicating your entire being to someone else's existence. Like hate. They're the same thing, you know.

I saw your video, showed it to my gf. We were quite touched, assuming all of these quotes were by actual kids that you interviewed in real life, and not in a game. But yes, we were quite touched. =) You did a great job!

But you'd hesitate to dive into the ocean to save someone that killed your family.

I don't know anyone that wouldn't dive into the ocean to rescue the only person they really cared about, even if there was a possibility they might die saving them.

Oh, now I see it...

I didn't see the video before and assumed it was just a regular question when I clicked "New Posts". Not trying to flame you but all these quotes are old. I've seen many of them at least one to two years ago, so you merely compiled all of them into the video.

Because the quotes were not really original, and the movie is merely a slideshow typed thing, if you want me to rate it, I'd say it only deserves a 2/10.

What is the true meaning of love though? There is no "true" meaning, as the definition varies from person to person. I wouldn't call the title that.

What the pineapple part of my post mentioned anything about caring or saving? I wouldn't hesitate to jump into the ocean. It'd be to kill that fucker though.

Could you really bring yourself to do it though? Many people when finally given the chance, cannot pull the trigger.
