Black vs Red Cubes

My friend insists that Black Cubes give a higher chance to raise potential rank than the Red ones, can anyone confirm/deny this? Going to be cubing up a good chunk of stuff to Legendary (or go broke trying) in a while, and if Red cubes are significantly worse at raising rank than Legendary then I'll probably just go with Black cubes (Black fragments give better stuff anyway).

you will see most people are using black cubes most of the time.
The only time to use reds would be if you were already at legendary and were looking for the first good line.

If you can afford it, go black, you will never go back.

I've had friends get two items to legendary in under 11 red cubes (from unique), while I personally have used over ~175 red cubes on an epic item without it going unique.

Black is better, in pretty much any situation. Only time to use red cubes would be on a legendary item with no good stats.

Personally, used 90 red cubes, no upgrade at all . 130 Black cubes, gave me 2 legends and 6 uniques.

I can't be the only one that's angry he's holding down enter and clicking when his item is ALREADY legendary. He cubes over SO many good stats. This is a huge waste of nx. And we wonder why nexon's attitude doesn't change.

Nah, it's just the effect of him spamming through every single cube. He switches maps/channels a bit, but spamming cubes is the absolute worst way to get good results.

I gauge the seeds of the location. If i get % stuff, i stay, if i get too much crap then i move. Usually less than 5-8. You have to give time for the seeds that influence your lines/upgrade chance to change or else neither will your luck.
