Razmos Wrote:Bought Civ5 Gold Edition, 75% off in the flash sale. awesome stuff.

Ditto, hoping it's as good as people have said it is.

Also there isn't even ANY discount on Natural Selection 2 at all Sad
My hopes of a good discount on that are falling.

Well, that was quick with Civ 5. Looks like that's all I need out of the sale. Everything else will be cake.

I was ready to buy it at 50% off, didn't have to wait long for that!

Considering the same, but I've heard rumblings of it being a poor port. Take that with a grain of salt.

I heard people say the same thing about the first one and the controls aren't that bad. Just requires you using the CTRL and ALT keys quite a bit, which I NEVER USE IN GAMING lol.

Bought the Walking Dead. Crap, I wish I had made a budget before this started.

If you have a controller it's solid. I don't know how the keyboard+mouse controls are, but some games just aren't meant for a keyboard+mouse, and you can't really say that makes it a "poor port". It has decent customization options, if I remember correctly, and the menus all work. Never had a crash either. Can't say the same for BL2, to be completely honest. That UI breaks so much it makes me cry, and I've had it crash from random crap (and if the Steam servers hiccup AT ALL it will boot you, which is absolutely retarded, but slightly off topic).

Five Second Pose Wrote:It also comes with a code for a promotional pack of cards from stores that contains a Scavenging Ooze.

Should Scavenging Ooze even be considered rare at this point, considering the promotional giveaway? Still a great card, not saying that it isn't.

I was considering picking up Magic '14 as well, especially if they put Sealed Slots on sale, which they REALLY, REALLY, REALLY should do.

Darksider 1 and 2 played just fine with keyboard and mouse for me, couple of awkward moments but overall it really wasn't a problem and didn't bother me.
Had loads of fun playing it with keyboard and mouse.

You're no help at all. Ah whatever, it's pretty much at the value of a cheap sandwich.

No. It's an utterly pointless game that only ever got popular because of that stupid yogcast thing. That piece of crap made it through greenlight instead of a real game. Hothead

The only redeeming quality it has whatsoever is that it might just fall into a "So bad its worth playing once" category.

So like I said, I've just been keeping an eye out on what's being sold and buying stuff on a whim. So far I've picked up: The Cave (something I've been wanting to play for awhile, I like puzzle games and I've heard it's pretty good), They Bleed Pixels (I'm both excited and regretful for buying this... I'm a perfectionist, so I tend to go mad if I don't 100% a game, and pomegranate man... this game has so many achievements, speed runs, rankings, and unlockables; I've made a huge mistake), and finally Psychonauts (I own the game on PS2, it's one of my favourites, but it's been awhile since I've played through it and plus the Steam version has content the original doesn't, like achievements and all, so I figured I'd pick it up and play it again on PC and it was only $2.50, so, yeah).

Still waiting for Skyrim stuff to go on super sale again, cause I want to get Dragonborn for cheap. I'm only going to buy it if it gets to 50% off or more again. 30% off is just not good enough for me.

There's a thread where people basically say it's awful, terrible and not worth your time to play.

I enjoyed it and found it worth it at the very low price it was set to.
