"quitted" is cooler than "quit" that's the whole point of using it.

"Quitted" originated with "_____________ quitted the guild," which is Nexon coders failing to spell properly.

They used quitted right; "Quit" can double as it's own past tense so people don't bother using it today. I think (Correct me if I'm wrong.) that it was more commonplace in the past when the world was flat and we feared a malevolent God.

The word "papaya" used to mean a bundle of wood. We cannot use that word anymore because it is a slur. Similarly, "niggardly" means cheap, but because "nigger" is derived from it we may not use "niggardly" that much anymore.
Shakesperian English was beautiful and it had a lot of rules, conventions, and ways to circumvent all of it. The problem is that it is outdated, and today training is required to read Shakespeare properly and understand it properly. In all my English classes, they told me that the person "quit," it is okay/not okay to "quit," "quit" doing this, etc. You get a feeling as to the proper usages of the word. I never saw quitted until I came on Maple. It's possible "quitted" is the bringing of old English, but more likely that a company translating from Korean to English simply made errors. I think the bilingual translators going from Korean to English would sooner translate to modern, than to ancient English; that idea is supported by the fact that tons of other linguistic errors exist in Maple. Night Load, 50% scrolls for shield ma att, etc. are mistakes.

Urbandictionary is the only dictionary I use.
Unfortunately I never am allowed to use it on standardized tests that allow a dictionary.
Stupid, amirite?

Yes, they used it right. But it was a coincidence if anything considering all the wonderful typos they've made.
