Honestly, if that rumor is true...it just shows how much faith Microsoft doesn't have in their own product at this point. They never did that before, so why would they now...unless they realize that all this stupid crap they're doing is going to screw them over.

Regardless or not that you don't support the Xbox One. You shouldn't use the new OS. Windows 8 will be better than 7. And I'm sorry you can't adjust to the new Metro, but get over it. A lot of people I knew pitched a b'itch fit about it being super different than 7 and eventually got over it and used it.

Why use crap when you can use older, better stuff? I used 95 until XP came out, I used XP until 7 came out, and I'll use 7 until something better comes out, even if that never happens.

Yeah, I believe so. Too late for that, though, I already installed Classic Shell on my laptop and gave myself the Start Menu back. We'll have to see about the rest of the problems. Still not installing it on my desktop unless it's magically better which I doubt.

I could believe Microsoft doing the reddit part, but I can't believe they'd pay 3rd parties, that the 3 parties would accept and that Sony wouldn't know of this or do something about it. Microsoft would have to be paying. IDK, half the development price of those games that they dont want to be shown to justify that much at least. why care developing something if you wont advertise it? possibly resulting in it not selling, and why would Sony, which is bigger than MS just watch and not even attemp to buy back the 3rd parties? (or hire some hitmen and kill the responsable... they sure could do that )

Unless they are multi platform games and Microsoft is paying to only have the X1 version shown, at which point they'll gloat about how good it is on the X1 while there's nothing being shown for the other console(s) versions. This could even go as far as to pollute the population into the belief that there are more exclusive X1 games than there are, if the other versions aren't even talked about.
