Help with evo world?
#21
Two more questions for the run:

1) Which classes are the best for farming at Link 3? I'm going to be prepping a Luminous for it already but it'd be nice if there were others that can do so.
2) How do you get the core to make the instructors spawn? I'm assuming this is a drop and it's just really rare, but well, it'd be nice to get this confirmed.

2) no idea, haven't gotten any yet.[/COLOR]

1) Right, though I need 19 more levels before I can pass over some decent STR% equips to my DS and wreak havoc there. Big Grin
2) It probably just is a normal drop. Ugh, hope it isn't nerfed or removed.

Eh? Don't you guys have it in your shop?

They're right after the Shadow Monster mission core. I think they upped the price to 450 coins in kMS, though, either right after Unlimited or after Cygnus Returns.

1. I farm fine on my phantom, spam Aiguilles when they get vacc'd to middle, 170 hyper when able. If you want, stick CL on your 4th job slot to mob them when they're not vacc'd. Really any class with a mob skill that hits at least 4 at decent speed/can always 1hko with it, are great to farm.
2. Sold for 300 coins each in the shop, they also drop at stupid rates.

We don't have any of those, the only cores for bosses are the ones for Manon, Griffey, Pianus and the mission addition for Shadow Cygnus. Which...says a lot. /weeps in a corner

Oh, that probably explains why Max mentions this:

Quote:For Evolving System, they added in Cores for the 5 Cygnus instructors. They also reduced the time limit from 30 minutes to 20 minutes.

kMS ver. 1.2.187 – Cygnus Returns: Striker!

Guess they took it out at some point, and SEA happened to get a version of Evolving World after they were removed and before they were re-added. Or, you know, they just decided not to put them in. Either explanation works. In any case, when they do come back (or more accurately, when you get them), I'm positive they'll be 450 coins each, as that is what they are in kMS now.

Also, the Evolving World Instructors now appear to have 10.5b HP (compare to the V2 versions, which have 6.3b) with 100% DEF, but other than that, they're still linked to the V2 versions, so they should be identical, other than the 10.5b HP and 100% DEF.

If you have a Luminous, and your damage is sufficiently high and you don't care about coins, you can stay in training mode permanently.

Everything else needs Link 3. Of which, DS is very good with Cry, and Xenon is just crazy if lag is minimal.

DA might do well inside with it's 4th job main attacking skill, seeing that it's range is quite big. Haven't try it yet though.

3rd job attack skill looks most optimal for mobbing, because it hits 10 mobs and has a lower delay. Exceed Execution hits max 6 mobs... You do have Armour Break, which has excellent range but mediocre damage and overall delay.

Demon Slayer's Demon Cry also comes with the added bonus of a +20% drop rate.

Hey, every bit helps.

I have a Q about evo, might as well put it here.
Is there some kind of bonus for doing the quests for all 9 links in one run?
I did link 9, having died twice at it, and got 1 measly coin...bit of a rip off.

Nope, the quests in there are just separate tasks that rewards you some exp and 1 evolving coin each.
I don't usually do them unless they happen to coincide with what I'm doing, such as farming/hunting in Link 3 or killing something in link 9.

Reflection is crazy at link3 when the mob spreads, the only downside to luminous is the lack of stance other than mihile link.
