Why is everyone worried about unlimited?
Marksman Bryan Wrote:Hell, bring back nebulite cubes. The current system sucks eggs, with scania having huge amounts of the good, duped A nebs (4%all stat, 25% boss), while smaller servers like Renegades, Bellocan, and even medium servers like windia (I believe) are screwed out of them.

Would also like cash trade. That would solve SO many problems.

Unless everyone is busy with school (which is most likely what's going on in Windia) I'm pretty sure we're considered a "small" server now (Aka I rarely see people, even the people in Henesys). And yes, bring nebs back, I don't even see nebs in the shops these days (but I do see alot of boxes.....)

My thoughts exactly. Just recently I was telling my Hard Hilla buddies that "I CALL EARRINGS" because I heard they have better AO stats since it's from a boss or something. Now that we aren't getting AO I really wonder if the heavy hitters of GMS will ever accomplish the things that high-dps KMS players have done.

It really depends on what Nexon brings to GMS. Since we know we aren't getting a new system, they could revamp nebs to potentially give us a big boost. Think 3 potential lines, 3 bonus potential lines, and 3 nebulite slots per item. Of course this creates the problem of making us have to rely even more heavily on nx (as if that is possible at this point), but if for instance, Nexon made occult cubes, nebulite cubes, and bonus pot cubes drop from bosses at a low rate, that would be a pretty cool system.

I am curious what they will be doing about the damage cap increase because right now I am sitting on this hurricane hyper that will become COMPLETELY useless if/when they increase the cap (I'm looking at you, Split Damage).

Well this is certainly intriguing. Girasol; Thanks for taking the time to share info with us.
I'm definitely curious and more than a little nervous about what these custom changes will mean.

There was no need to specify level 195 and above.

And yes I did have to specify that, and no "the DI hyper skill" would have not been enough.

AO was only amazing for xenon in the first place, I mean cmon, why would anyone need 40+ dex or 40+ str on their equip if they were a mage? Glad to see that pomegranatety system isnt coming to gms, means theres a higher chance for other servers to skip it too. I'd rather have some boss revamp to the minimum where you wont need AO to kill them, but still some more funding than what it is at right now, hypers just made everything too easy.

But I'd love to have root of abyss bosses close to unkillable status, means soloing will never happen.

I am perfectly fine with not getting Additional Options if it means that bosses don't become overly powerful. All I want from Nexon is for them to make Nebulites drop more than once every three or four blue moons (and maybe make Treasure Monsters spawn more while they're at it).

Interested in this. Several concerns though.

1) I'm hoping we still receive those perm android hearts because that's pretty much what i've been waiting for.
2) 90% scrolls happening?
3) Class changes? (because i've been preparing for Demon Avenger for months...)

I would like to see more neb box drops as other posters have said. It would be simple to make monsters drop neb boxes at an increased yet fair rate and bosses to drop rare neb boxes. For example, depending on the level, bosses can drop C neb boxes which would be green in color and give C nebs with B at a certain chance, B neb boxes which would be blue and give A nebs rarely and A boxes which would be purple and give S ranks rarely. This would make bossing AND building your character more exciting.

If this is not acceptable, then I guess the return of nebulite cubes would be the best...

According to your post, you could only hit 6 enemies 6 times with Dark Impale if you were level 195 and put a point into "the DI hyper skill". This is, of course, wrong, as you can still hit 6 enemies 6 times with Dark Impale even if you were level 196 or above. Likewise, you could be level 196 or above and still be able to add a point into "the DI hyper skill". By saying "only", you've already cancelled out all other possibilities of hitting 6 enemies 6 times with Dark Impale without being level 195, regardless of whether you added a point into "the DI hyper skill" or not.

MetaSeraphim Wrote:And yes I did have to specify that, and no "the DI hyper skill" would have not been enough.

Saying "a DI hyper skill" would have been wrong, yes, as it implies that any Dark Impale hyper skill allow you to hit 6 enemies 6 times with Dark Impale. That's different from "the DI hyper skill", which implies that you are only referring to a particular Dark Impale hyper skill. It is still true that something along the lines of "the level 195 DI hyper skill" would have been more descriptive and specific than "the DI hyper skill", which also certainly might not have been enough by your standards, but that's where the problem of your post lies; you didn't say "the level 195 DI hyper skill", but "Only if you're level 195". I was simply pointing out that even without the level specification, which made your post wrong, your post would still have been perfectly agreeable, compared to having the level specification, which was plain wrong.

I don't really like the Empress' healing mechanic, so I hope that they at least use their new ability to surpass 2.1b to remove her heals ;__;

No, that isn't what my post meant or said at all. Your comment is completely wrong.

Naw, you're just plain wrong about all of this as well. English must not be your first language, but, it's okay, maybe you'll learn one day.

My post very obviously meant that only by putting a point into the Dark Impale Hyper Skill that you get at 195 does Dark Impale hit 6 monsters 6 times.

Being a MapleSEA player myself, I've noticed that MSEA's hacker problem is big. Really big.
Also, at one time, we were supposed to get champions patch, but we instead got useless repeated events.
Edit: Did I mention that the next patch is gonna be a huge patch?

Perhaps that's not what you intended for it to mean/say, but your poor wording made it so anyway. And unlike you, I have reasoning behind what I say.

I really have nothing to say if all you're going to do is throw "wrong" at me with no explanation behind it. No, your post does not mean what you want it to mean just because you wrote it.

English is in fact, my second language. Cantonese is my first language and I'm studying Japanese right now (unsure if it'll actually become my third language though). In case you were wondering .-.

Again, the "level 195" referred to the Dark Knight and not the hyper skill. Nowhere in your post does it say that you get "the DI hyper skill" at level 195.

My gosh, this has got to be the most pointless discussion ever. Seeya around.

Ah yes. I was wondering if you guys had got Champions yet. Because that huge Tempest + Unlimited patch doesn't include it, does it? It would be really messy if the patch orders were mixed up. You'd have to keep notes on what hasn't come yet haha ¬¬

We do. Now it's one really big patch called season 2. First part is item reorganisation and hyper skills (and increased items drops, though it doesn't show in the video.). It seems like Asiasoft decided to release this patch to catch up with GMS and EMS, because our current patch is now Mihile patch (not including the useless event patch that we are in now). They visited Nexon HQ in South Korea to ask them on advice on how to deal with the current situation.

TL;DR, we got a patch that mixes unlimited and tempest, first part on the 24th.

Edit: High chance the release of new jobs goes: Angelic Burster, Xenon, Kaiser, Luminous. This is from a poll that MSEA did a few weeks ago.

Meta's wording wasn't all that bad, it was just slightly vague. Anyone who knows about how leveling systems work (i.e. everyone here) should have known what she was saying. It was the context and the intended audience, not just the wording alone, that derived the meaning. It's just as she said in her first reply to your needless nitpicking: "There was no need to specify level 195 and above."

His/her wording was wrong, but she still conveyed her message to the intended audience because everyone here knows what she's talking about? Sure, that's fine. But then why reject my corrections? Because the wording I suggested was wrong and his/her's were in fact, correct?

That goes against what you're saying here. He/she doesn't agree that his/her wording was flawed, but that only mine is. If he/she truly believed what you said about his/her post, he/she wouldn't have said that my post was wrong. She would have said that it was correct, but unnecessary...

... like you're saying here. BUT (!!!), nitpicking is absolutely irresistible when the topic is Batman-related. You'll have to excuse me.

You have no idea how nervous I am about this patch, given that they always leave out the important parts. I'll flip something real hard if they included the Unlimited Aswan changes as well though.
