I think the other reward is Katarina, but recruiting her is only really worth something if you really want to recruit all the DLC characters, or if you want a Grandmaster with Shadowgift. Most of my children turned out to my liking aside from the fact that I married Chrom to Sumia on accident instead of Olivia on my Lunatic file. I'm changing that for Lunatic+, but I've been stuck on chapter 3 for at least a week now.

what are the stats of your current characters? I'm on chapter 17 so I can help ya with that lol

I just paragoned all my characters. The children are the hardest thing in this mode cus you have to recruit them and fight off a pretty big offensive force :/ I had to waste like 10 warp staffs for severa only to die because of reinforcements i forgot about

I'm considering starting over,I think Frederick got screwed by the RNG a couple levels with his growths, and most of my other characters are at or pretty close to their base stats. At level 5 Frederick has 31 HP, 17 str, 11 spd, 16 def, 4 res. I had a couple levels where he gained only 2 stats, it was mostly thanks to luck that I beat the first two chapters, and those took a bit of patience.

Got the EU demo, things are awesome, tried Lunatic, got my ass handed to me rather quickly. Can I skip ahead to 3 weeks from now please?

You want to focus mainly on speed/str/def. Try to focus on getting about 15 speed, then you'll double almost everything. You can also focus on your avatar but it has to be defense spec. And depending on what you want to do with chrom, concerning marriage, it maybe safer to just tie him and fred up until kellum in chapter 3.

Pegasus Knights and other flying units are traditionally weak to arrows and wind magic. It's can get frustrating, every Fire Emblem game I've played I've always forgotten about an archer or a mage at least on one map, and said archer always ends up killing a pegasus knight. If you're getting the DLC Smash Brethren 3 gives a skill that negates the arrow weakness for flyers.

In all games they get ohkod, just that with some training they became able to dodge/tank them. My florina could solo a pack of silver archers back in fe7 by endgame.

As I said, I recall archers doing closer to 3/4's rather than one hit ko. In this game the moment you recruit her it's like 30 damage easily

Why is this surprising? Wind Magic was always super effective vs flyers since it was considered it's own type of magic (I think it started in path of radiance?)

I thought ioates shield only stopped arrows, but it surprised me that it also stops wind magic

Unit loses flying weaknesses, so thats why it stops both.

And oh yea, not really related to awakening, but don't forget to install the heron language font :U -cough-

But ye, made it ages ago when the language was translated,and it's not completely pretty, but the spacing is top notch if you ask me, do use it and tell me your opinions :U

My first forum was feplanet after all (or basil? Been too long) anyways, i've been around for a while! -puffs chest- i've been thinking for a good while of making the font less thick, but alas no time

I would install it, but I don't think I would use it much because it's quite hard to read since many of the symbols look alike.
I noticed since I recognized "Darkspawn980" around Basil in the past; never put two and two together whenever I visited this page though.
