Lunatic is, the cheap way is to sell everything and forge the avatar's tome then solo it, then when you get second seal, go to merc to get armsthrift, with nosferatu, you can solo it.

Well just to give you some information, grinding is impossible after hard mode, unless you use DLC. The risen or monsters on the map are capped. You can use streetpass to do 1exp each per battle but that's tedious as pineapple.

do note, i can get the spotpass stuff, but for some reason the payable DLC isn't available for my region, i can only DL the "free" DLC.

Close. Just wondering though, why would you only get 1 exp per battle from streetpass? Did they put that in there to explicity stop grinding? (Seems odd with all the other ways to grind...)

I'm assuming so, with Risen and streetpass, the only thing you can do is fight the chapters or paralogues (where most of them are as ridiculous as the risen). By chapter 10 your characters need to be a combined level of at least 60 to even stand a chance against the units in lunatic+. 5940 battles to get one unit to a fighthing level, who can STILL die because of counter mooks, who will walk up to you, attack you even with a 0 hit rate, just so you can bring them from 60 hp down to 2 only for it to kill yourself.

Yeah, but surely you could just go to your region settings and change it to somewhere else. You must be playing an American region 3DS right? Can't you just change your region setting to some other state in America? I know I can change my 3DS to anywhere in PAL regions (Including austrailia!) and it gives me access to those regions eshops, just they all suck compared to the UK shop, so there isn't much point.

There is a huge gap between game play in normal/hard and lunatic modes. In normal/hard, you can 2hko most enimies, and skills like lifetaker and galeforce are great because you consistently kill enemies. Galeforce is not as useful in lunatic since it rarely activates. Skills like Vengance, Vanatage, and Sol are much better, since you rarely will be at full health.

I wouldn't disregard galeforce to that extreme. Lunatic+ is a little more questionable and highly debated, but lunatic it's still a good asset. The reason is because Aegis/Pavise is on every other goddamn unit, where Lunatic isn't really prominent with skills, just max stats

At least they dont have renewal/sol/lifetaker too, that would be very annoying. I'm still trying to defeat my friends streetpass team, he gave everyone ageis, pavise, vantage, sol and vengance.

I forgot to mention counter. Its good when you know the opponent will only have close range melee attacks. Rally Spectrum+Rally love is also a good combo for support (since different rallies stack on each other) for +6 stats and +1 movement.

The DLC exclusive classes (Dread fighter and Bride) have nice gender exclusive skills. the 10 attack from aggressor on your turn can help you take out some powerful enemies before they can kill you. Rally Love and Bonds are both very good support skills.

Yeah, gerome is actually the best rally supporter, from my understanding. I'm not sure how I'm going to incorporate the bride though, still trying to figure it out. Dreadfighter is a great class though, I left chrome as it because it's just so fucking good.

The difficulty is retarded, but then I remember that there's that one DLC map we'll get last that has waves of enemies with insane stats and Lunatic+ skills to top it off, which are there regardless of what difficulty you're on, and that map scares me

Its why the children you raise are so crucial. All of them have dragonskin/pavise/aegis, so your damage is at least half. And you have to kill each wave in two turns. So it's bad. It's called "the warrior with no name" or something along those lines. All you get from it is a the 999999 rewown reward, which really is worthless. (sells for 99k gold thats about it)

In other news Smash Brethren #3 dlc is out. Reward is Lyn. I must get it!! That art is awesome.

I think the other reward is Katarina, but recruiting her is only really worth something if you really want to recruit all the DLC characters, or if you want a Grandmaster with Shadowgift. Most of my children turned out to my liking aside from the fact that I married Chrom to Sumia on accident instead of Olivia on my Lunatic file. I'm changing that for Lunatic+, but I've been stuck on chapter 3 for at least a week now.

Iote's shield helps all the dark fliers im making for Gale force, but I can not wait for limit break, that is OP. +10 to the stat cap is huge! Especially with skills like arms thrift that activate at luk or skill x2, once you reach 50 they are guaranteed to activate every time!

[MENTION=4235]KhainiWest[/MENTION]; Im putting most of the male characters trough Demon fighter. Aggressor is good, and they get the versatility of three weapons. Not to mention the exp growths because they are a special class.
