Borderlands 2
Mechromancer skill tree builder is available.

Anarchy looks like it's going to be tricky to use, what with the huge accuracy penalty it can give.

Shotguns, Accuracy barely matters with those in mid to low range and the usually low magazine size from (Mostly Jakobs)shotguns means you can get lots of anarchy in no time or if accuracy its too much of a factor to you (Like to me) Hyperion Shotguns can be handy with those stabilizers, that tree also looks heavily focused in anarchy... And with the last skill going to melee range seems to be good. You can keep your shields high killing enemies with "Blood Soaked Shields" and recover any health lost from that skill with "With Claws" or reloading with "Discord". "The Nth degree" could probably make Every single bullet of that Nth shot of the shotgun to ricochet. You could also try to use Snipers for 1 hit wonders up close, but shotguns seems better for this tree.

Her tree is quite different from the others. She has a lot of 1 point skills. I initially like the look of the elemental tree but Anarchy is certainly interesting. It’s something i would want to see in action first. I wonder how big an impact it would have on something like a sniper rifle since you can rack up kills fast and it has a small magazine size.

Speaking of which, I just posted that on the Pony General.
I forgot this thread existed...I'm so sorry. Either way, I'm sold on that class.

Very interesting.

My co-worker had pre-ordered the game for me to pay me back for paying for his drinks one get together after work...so I ended up getting the game when I didn't want it so early. Been really waiting for the class to play, seemed far more unique than the rest. Yay for not having to wait another week to play.

Oct 9th? That's today! Wonder how long before it shows up on Steam.

[MENTION=6037]Dark Link[/MENTION]; Probably 1PM EST. That's usually when DLC/Non-Midnight additions are added to Steam. I went to check Steam but the entire listing on the main page is broken, nothing is showing up. When I went to the page for BL2, there was no Mechromancer DLC, so I have to figure it will come at 1PM unless their system is broken...then it could be longer.

[color="#cc8899"]Very happy with the Siren so far. I was pretty sure she was the right character for me and have yet to run into a situation where Phase Lock wasn't useful in some way. Even the bosses that I can't Lock into place take a huge chunk of damage from it at no cost to me. The sheer variety of ways I can use it has been amazing me in new ways each time I play.

Enemy hiding behind cover? Phase Lock him.

Rakk way, way out in the distance? Phase Lock then snipe.

Phase Lock(Converge) + Singularity Grenade = tons of crowd control and easy grouping

Phase Lock(Converge) + MIRV grenade for crazy damage/AOE nuke

Phase Lock(Converge,SubSequence,Helios,Cloud Kill) = Amazing chain reaction of death, easy way to cc multiple enemies multiple times. Unfortunately there's no way to work Ruin into the combination until the level cap is raised beyond 50 (level 56 if you want rank 5 SubSequence).

Phaselock + Thunderballs Fist (Orange pistol from Baron Flynt) = fun with mini-grenades

I actually don't like Thoughtlock as much - I love the concept, but in practice it seems to turn Phase Lock into a much weaker Sabre Turret and removes a lot of the basic utility of holding an enemy in place.

On an unrelated note, I love the 1340 shield/gun, the nagging sniper rifle, and the cursed SMG - so much fun to use. SWAPPIN WEAPONS!

Very close to the end of the first playthrough, and Handsome Jack is an pimento. Also eagerly waiting to see if we get to meet Butt Stallion or not.[/color]

Yeah I recently got a hold of a saved file from a friend who has 250 keys linked to the profile, so I'm abusing it like no other Rolleyes. My friends always crack on me of Jack being my alter ego, up until

You know, I was already interested in the idea of a mechanic/engineer class. Now this is just sweet sweet icing on the cake.

Some details about the first DLC pack leaked

Looks like we get a new rarity level. Seraph.

There sure are a lot of enemies with this so-called "title".

The new "Seraph" rarity reminds me of the "Pearlescent" rarity in BL1.

So the first DLC is fighting sand pirates in the 'Oasis' for treasure. Not too surprising I guess since Randy Pitchford did let slip that he wanted to do something like that scene from Return of the Jedi. I’m not going to read all the transcripts and stuff because I don’t want to spoil it.

Though this is interesting.

Code:
SeraphVendor=The Seraph Crystal Vendor sells top level gear but only accepts Seraph Crystals in payment.\n\nEarn more Seraph Crystals by slaying Seraph Guardians.
SeraphVendorTitle=The Seraph Crystal Vendor

I guess it will be like another Crazy Earl?

So happy the Mechromancer class was released early--I had planned to use her as my main since I first heard about her. Will be trying her out soon, although I have no idea how I'm gonna work with that crazy skilltree(s).

I'm kinda surprised the first DLC is about pirates... I remember reading about someone who looked through the data files and found stuff for a Halloween boss and a quest related to it, so I thought the first DLC would be, again, something Halloween-oriented like the Zombie Island of Dr. Zed.

Gaige has quite the personality. She makes me laugh in game quite frequently with her hilarious remarks.
