Now, they are trying to figure out (I would assume they have a theory on how to do this) how to make it stunnable, and not poison/web-able.
Exactly. After all, you wouldn't really have to "look into" something that could be fixed by setting the boss flag to 1, now would you? They could have just released a patch with the boss flag set to 1 to fix it.
As for my question, here is the complete question I asked:
Cactuar Wrote:When I first looked over the information on the mobs, I was filled with disappointment. After running the ratios by a few other monsters around their levels, however, I found that these monsters are great! Except the fact that they have annoying immunities and skills or spawn with terrible monsters. My question is, do you plan on "fixing" these EXP:HP ratios (particularly the windraider, who has a horrid 40 HP to 1 EXP ratio) and dropping a few immunities? Actually, my only real qualm is with the WindRaider. It basically feels like it's there to ruin possibly great training areas. I love it's design, but could you at least give it 800 EXP or something? Other than that, I love Bigfoot. Great originality though I'm a tadbit worried about poisoning the boss.

Im glad to see that this forums isnt as stupid as Sleepywood where everyone is cussing and flaming whoever posts their opinions about bigfoot.
I wonder who the people that reported this "glitch" are...maybe those who were upset that they coudnt kill a Bigfoot by themselves? o O..We will never know x]

Bigfoot isn't that hard to solo as a BM. <3 Puppet

If you're a quest freak like me, you'd know the second part ACTUALLY COUNTS AS A QUEST! My quest count went up from 377 ~> 378 after finishing the repeat today. I had to risk getting caught 'abusing' Bigfoot with the notice rolling up at the top. (I wasn't really abusing it, but the droprate is so low that to a spectator, it may appear as if I were.
Good thing I finally found myself the toe. Sorry to all those quests freaks out there who need another one. </3

That's easy. There are already monsters in game that are this way (LoL Goby Houses.) Just make the monster poison immune. (The only problem for that is that Ice Demon and Fire Demon remove the resistances, and there are no monsters that are immune to the effect other than bosses, so Nexon needs to code Ice/Fire Demon immune nonboss monsters. Other than that, I see no great difficulty on Nexon's part.)
I like the idea of a % Attack damage cap. They should set that cap at 100K to MATCH the existing damage cap for everything (except pierce with 150K damage cap)...
100K would technically be impossible to reach for Poison unless the monster has 4 mil HP. Which wouldn't be practical.
100K would be impossible to reach for Shadow Web unless the monster had 5 mil HP. Which, again, wouldn't be practical. (And if it is 100K, triple throw could outdamage it.)
So a damage cap for the two skills would fix not only bigfoot, but the game.

What about shadow web?

You quoted the part about the cap for the % based attacks, which I mentioned would fix both poison and shadow web.

No, I meant, are goby houses affected by shadow web? Does shadow web deal 3.3% of the goby house's hp?

Something that I didn't realise before now:
Night Lords can taunt that guy as well. +40% exp and droprate, lol.

Yeah, but level 30 taunt before 17x would be stupid. Especially since you'll get banned now.
