HOLY F'UCK! THAT'S WHAT IT WAS.

I felt my bed shaking when I went to sleep at 2pm. I thought I was just going insane from the stress of hearing one of my best friends getting into a motorcycle accident. :|

First time ever feeling an actual earthquake. @_@

Japan and US make Haiti seem like they live in mudhouses (oh wait they do). Counting out the tsunami ofc, but still, the aftershocks in Japan were all about the magnitude of haiti and did nothing.

It wasn't even really shocking here, I just felt like I was off-balance for a few seconds and then thought, "that was a thing that happened."

That Never Forget pic is hilarious.

If that were to happen to me^ I'd be hiding under some tables. People here in Georgia said they felt something but I didnt feel anything.

There's also the fact that earthquakes on each coast are different due to the landtypes, earthquakes travel further here.

Also, last time I checked, we don't have major faults on this coast. How did this even happen?

I know it's wikipedia, but you can research it more if you want:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intraplate_earthquake

It's basically a fault within a plate, so in a way it acts like a normal fault, just on the plate itself and not the actual fault line between 2 plates. it's like having a tiny scratch on a smooth surface.

7.0 one today in Peru. The planet needs a healthy dose of Midol.
