Some like to do it just to piss people off. Others do it to sell the meso. Can't really do either of those in a private server.

If they did it to piss legits off I doubt they'd CC when legits enter the map though. Also for all intensive purposes Meso farming is a dead business, between MTS and Meso bags in the CS, you can buy Mesos for pretty cheap straight from nexon, not nearly as many buy from 3rd party sites now.
