I will make a infighter, and it might become my main. At the moment, I'll say it won't become my main, but it could if I enjoy it enough. I have a decent amount of money to fund it with as well, so we'll see.

I'm gonna make both of Pirates sub-class diversion. (Low-STR Gunner ; Low-DEX Infighter)
I'll use Gunner as my main character if things work according to plan.

I don't even plan on making a pirate, from videos on youtube that i see, they are not that good. I'm making a new character, (Bowmaster) but not really interested in pirates.

Eh, it's all hype. It'll be interesting to see half of this forum dissapointed with Pirates after a month or two of release and return back to their mains. I'm sticking with my Shadower, and I feel bad for the people who sold everything they own from their mains to fund a character that they haven't even played yet.

I'm waiting for that too, i have no itention of starting a pirate, and it doesn't look that good from the videos on youtube.

Yes I am making a viper and retiring my DrK from main. However I will still use my DrK to boss and such for mesos/skills. I have been obsessive over pirates and am excited for their release, and a viper will be the last character I create. So it is going to be my main.

lol, just finished buying some average-good dex gear. I kinda rushed buying them so I wouldn't be hit by the inflation of gunslingers/low-dex infighters.

The stats are kinda uneven now, which I don't like.

As my old main is about as strong as storage mules, I think it's wise for me to move on over. I don't play enough or care enough to want to level my character like mad. I just want to have a little bit of fun. Doubt that I'll get past level 30, but at least I'll have some fun.

Mega unfair to archers and gunslingers since their main stat is DEX which everyone else scrolls for in order to maximize their 1st stat

I'm not going to, i don't see the point of moving from a rare class to a soon to be overpopulated class.

At first I wasn't really interested in pirates, but as time went on and more info on them has been shed, and now the Pre-pirate quest, I decided to hop in. I don't really have a main ATM anyway, I've been hoping between classes for awhile now (before I left MS all together). I think Pirates would be a perfect opportunity to come back to MS. I'm going to play a Gunslinger, BTW.

Yes, my gunslinger will be my main. There's no use going back to my Shadower, or making my hermit become a night lord when I already have access to someone else's night lord. Even though it will be my main, it's not like I'm going to be playing on it the whole time. I have access to many different types of 4th job characters. Pirates are just something to do on the side, haha.

No, it won't be my main. I'm gunna make a char of every subclass, but my I/L will always be my main.

Also, I'm a very idealistic Mapler, so the most funding I'll do for a character is giving it some items I already have, and giving it money. So all I'm giving my GS is a few mil mesos and my 5 att WG (lolnoob)
