When I first saw this, the only real thing I can think is that the DSi XL is for people with "bigger hands".

for one there are so many freaking games not available in Australia for the DS, PS2 and everything else that I am so tired of the whole region lock bullshit. I mean I miss out on lots of games due to unavailability I have used emulators, tis how I know of the games that I enjoy being unavailable and to be honest I hate using an emulator.

They drive me nuts, the controls are frustrating, I have to stay at my computer, I can't relax and lie down somewhere and just enjoy the game.

So the DSi looks to be one great big fail to me. My Ds Lite is staying with me. I love my pokemon GBA games, I love my good old Yoshi games, I love Tales of Phantasia, so why should I invest in a product that denies me the privilege of the GBA features of Pokemon Platinum (Gengar at that mansion in Eternia forest) Or being able to enjoy Tales of Phantasia with better sound, and a wider control scheme.
