I use AVG, Spybot and Ad-Ware. It's pretty sufficient to me. o.o
You can never exactly detect keyloggers. I suggest you to just never open/download unknown files/progrmas from non-official sites. A daily or weekly computer scan is suggested. If you're really worried, then you can choose to switch your Internet connection off whenever you're not using it. It prevents unwanted stuff to reach you while you're away.
Most of the time, it's not always the fault of something/someone around you. It is up to you to chose what is right and what's not. So, being conscious of what you're doing on the Internet is crutial.
