You get a little present icon on the left of your screen when you log in on that account. Clicking it allows you to receive the coupon. I saw it this morning when my wife got it, on a Mechanic she just made yesterday; I don't know about Phantoms because neither of us has one. She did suffer the non-working coupon problem a couple months back.
