So how many hundreds of dollars did he spend on his gear, and how much in game content did he skip just to increase the size of his e-peen? I'd bet "a lot."
This is a fine display of the cultural problem within the Maple community, and the reactions its obsession with being the best while deriding classes for being "OMG TOO OP, as if it somehow stops anyone else from enjoying the game. Why, I recall back in the day when Sins were hated for being "OMG KS MACHINES TOO OP." Ah, the memories. But I digress.
That Luminous is also proof of how completely and utterly broken the Potential system has made the game, allowing a relatively balanced class to suddenly hit the damage cap 100% of the time within a few days of a character's release. I don't normally hate new content, but when I do, it's game mechanics that allow people to bribe their way to victory while at the same time giving every new class a bad rep. I'd like to see that same Luminous without his equipment, which is what's truly OP, in a video comparing his unpotted damage to a 183 I/L mage's unpotted damage. That Luminous wouldn't look too godly anymore.
Suffice it to say, my concluding opinion of this video can be summed up as "oh look, someone who blew all their money on a free to play game." I wonder what flavor ramen he'll be eating tonight.
