Wouldn't they normally stop the chat right away when it's not related to actually having an order etc?
They can talk back, especially if you decide to use the live chat feature that some of those sites have.
In all honesty I had a friend become friends with one of the meso sellers. Even got her actual MSN for IMing and such.
She was like a 17 year old girl that lived somewhere in Asia land. Started out by teasing her that she wasn't an actual person and such.
