This would have been a far more emotional chapter if it wasn't because Itachi's story has been really overused since long ago. The same as "rejected Naruto". Also the fact that Itachi's parent's would just accept their deaths like that, it's kind of... well, as much as it can make sense it doesn't at the same time.
