If I'm counting right, you use 12 extra washes at the extreme case (level 20).
Cost of 12 washes (bera mts:nx) = ~120mil
You can get pretty decent int gear for that price and won't be lacking the 600 hp you have to wash just to catch up >_<
I guess it's better if you're gonna be spending a ton on washing anyway.
I'd be more interested in seeing a study of how much int gear is necessary to max your HP by 200, depending what your hp&mp&level is.
