Honestly, I wasn't expecting a Zelda game. I don't know why anyone was. Zelda games usually take ~2 years after development starts before anything pops up about it. Skyward Sword's development started in 2006, after Twilight Princess was put on shelves. The information about it didn't start coming out until 2008 or 2009 and it didn't pop up at E3 until... 2010?
I was hoping for a new Metroid, though... I wonder what Retro Studios has been working on that hasn't been announced.
