Questionable actions by a (possible) Riot employee?

First, we apologize for the experience that you had in-game; I can understand how frustrating that must have been.

We’re going to be investigating this event internally to better understand the situation. Once we've had time to conduct the investigation, we’ll take any appropriate action to ensure that this doesn't happen in the future.

In the meantime, I'm going to close this thread as we investigate. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Looks like they're being sincere about it as well as going into damage control mode if necessary (Tamat is being sincere in his letter and even signing off his letter with his real + forum name)
