I'll give it a try, Maybe they will learn their mistakes from the first game and it won't be so easy to exploit. It's a possibility.
The only way I could be turned off gameplay-wise is if its a static overhead camera 90% of the time, dynamic camera action please. Fighting always looks dull with an overhead view. Not to mention I wouldn't spend time making awesome-looking characters if all i can see is their hats. >_>
I highly doubt it will be point and click, since that trend seems to be dying out in favor of action combat in the vein of Tera/Vindictus nowadays. but if it is, that will kill my interest too.
Lastly, there better be a auction house type system for selling items, I cannot tolerate MS's FM anymore after more intuitive systems have come to existence. If they still have players sitting up with their PCs all night just to sell 1-2 items = instant dealbreaker.
Final thing i need to actually like this: Worthwhile questing in terms of items/exp.
tl:dr, adapt MS2 to modern concepts, for pete's sake.
