Yeah don't think that class's revamp is finished at all feels as if they half assed it all the way. Few moves are extremely redundant, two or more skills are actually copied completely from cannoneers, animations seem copied as well from various sources in game, and the gameplay style of it is a mess from what I saw..Possibly due to the energy charging too fast which is probably a glitch.

Edit: Yeah I know it is still in a testing state but it seems more broken than the other classes is all, and it needs a lot of work it can't be half done even...Will be optimistic and hope for it to improve later.
