Done as much as I can in preparation of the update and leaving the rest as is. Lake surroundings 100% complete, so there's nothing stopping people from moving in around the area if interested.
Once the update swings around (when is that exactly seeing as Notch isn't located nearby?), I'll be in the initial village waiting for anyone interested in a nether expedition to look for some ruins. We'll be going from a gate I've made a short distance away from my castle. As an added challenge, this particular gate is one-way. We'll have to either find our way back to the earlier gates, or travel far enough for a new gate to be established. After that, exploring the edges of the map for the new biomes (looking for a large mycellum area for the post-2000 CT dome). As far as the Ender goes, I think we might be screwed given our dungeon is already formed, but if needed, some admin magic can solve that problem. Of course, that assuming there's a proper way out in official release since we wouldn't want to lock our characters in there (didn't watch the so-called spoiler video).
