Question About Familiars to JMS Players

Sadly, in GMS healing from familiars means it uses up an pot use. Even my Mutant pig uses up my pot use somehow when it doesn't even heal! Looks so lame, now I'm wondering why I see tons of people using them for Empress Cygnus. That's why this question is only for them, over here we look like we got cheated. I tested recently already when soloing VL and got spammed by this notice for healing.
