They're not designed to stop hacking, they're designed to stop botters. That's why they're called bot-catching monsters.
GMS has never had a real problem with botting (except in conjunction with hacking) so they really wouldn't do much for us. We might get them some time anyway though, a lot of the destruction mechanisms are in place already.
and if Z wasn't clear enough, they all spawn on-map, normally, without having to be dragged there by hackers. They have a blue notice just like Area Bosses, so you don't have to worry about accidentally attacking one in your mobbing.
