I pretty much agree with what most of the people here have said. I do believe Nexon is trying to exploit their playerbase as much as they can. They prey on people's temptation and their desire to get stronger in the game for a chance by using real money.
Items just for fun like chairs with expiration dates are depressing too. Most stuff expires and limits your fun and that alone turns me off from buying anything from the CS. You can't help but feel like you got jipped most of the time. The chair gachapon is also a ploy for trying to get more money. Odds are against you when trying to go for a good permanent chair. No one likes or wants expiring chairs, but there's a few to some people who will buy them anyway and have fallen into Nexon's trap. Nexon is hoping they buy a heap of hourglasses just to extend the expiration dates on them. With those available, just expect more fun or good expiring items to be released.
But anyway, if I happened to get hacked, it would really be game over for me, and I would feel the same way that the people have gotten hacked and have lost a lot would. They treat everyone the same and this compensation package would not help or persuade anything. It's basically Nexon telling you sorry for your loss, here's a crappy compensation package for you to restart your character, but don't forget to buy NX to recube and perfect scroll your stuff all over again (that 30k NX isn't enough to help). I would not restart over. In addition, they don't mention anything or do anything about their security to reassure you that it won't happen again.
I'm probably not the only one, but with every patch with new content that comes out, the more disappointing and depressing it is to play. That is because there are no mentions of any issues or bug fixes and they continue to pile on top of each patch. I'd rather take a patch full of bug fixes and issues resolved/addressed than new content patches... They can even open Tespia for it, players provide feedback and information, and they work on fixing them. It's really frustrating and hard to play and it should get to the point that it's not worth spending on NX anymore no matter what new CS item there is to make you stronger. Nexon's negliance and lack of care for the game and its players all adds up to it and we're pretty much tired of it.
