No bosses need you to spend nx, the problem there is that you think that you should spend it because of the profit, maple story bosses aren't worth it, the profit is very low unless you can solo it or you have a small party that shares the profit but still it is low, IMHO they should put something like the old reward system from KPQ/LPQ and increase the exp from them so bosses are profitable
