I will admit, I was wrong. I was under the impression that the normal jaguars had 140 speed, similar to how other mounts have their own speed settings that ignore the cap (though this could be another false assumption on my part). Looking back, it was silly of me to think this, as the Jaguar Riding skill even states that it adds 40 speed, which would fit quite nicely with what Joe said, since I have 160% speed while I'm riding Jaira.
I had said something along these lines a bit further up on the page, but I probably wasn't as clear as I could have been.
This does not, however, mean that I'm not a bit disappointed with the new Jaguar. It is pretty, yes, but I would like it to be better than normal Jaguars. It doesn't have to be as good as the original Jaira, but I would like it to be more than just a Shiny Jaguar.
