They'd have to add similar lines for every other map they don't want people jumping into, and for some reason they don't think it's worth the effort.
Why they can't check that the "GM warp" request comes from a real GM, and ban any impostors, is beyond me. Or, you know, they can just make that function always cause a ban, since there aren't any real GMs in the game anyway.
It was apparently the method that the client used to use to teleport you when you entered a portal/died.
