I really want to play again but the game's so expensive and I don't want to play my monarchs anymore. Plus tengu plants are super broken. I guess I'll wait for the banlist then play doppel if the plant engine dying doesn't make them horrible, in which case I'll try to make sabers.

Experiment with some of the budget decks out there. Many of the Hidden Arsenal archetypes (except Fabled and Naturia) are quite cheap for example. I've built my Jurracvell deck for under $50, and most of that was trying to get staple cards. Most of the Jurracs were given to me. I also have a Chain Burn deck which cost less than $20 to make.

If you have any friends that play the game, hit them up to see if they have some cards that you want. They are the true money savers.
