[GMST] [1.00] Capture the Flag

As for my opinion of what's coming; I could care less actually. There have been no signs of this company conceiving masterpieces as of late, so I'm not really going to pay attention. If something nice comes, great, I'm surprised; but if not, so what? My personal goals are based upon things that could have been accomplished since ToT was released, and once I've completed those, I'm done. Level 200 and max damage are vastly overrated.

tl;dr Don't get your hopes up. Low expectations make life a whole lot easier to deal with.

I still have the Ravana helm I got when my partner died. I was only in there for the card. Granted it was technically my second thanks to a rollback at the time. But seriously, I insist upon some compensation for the effort, time, and in some cases such as yours, money that was spent on the prior monster book. I actually have a ticket with NEXON regarding this that has yet to have been looked at by a human.

Except from the way I heard it, the whole thing could be completed in two days, or a long afternoon. It may seem fine to the crowd who just does the event quests on their 17X main, and then jumps ship for a month; but for a feature that involves exploring the Maple world, it should take a little longer. Think of it as if you were raising your first character and exploring the world. As you level up in each area, you'd find out more about the creatures you fight, and by the time you are fighting the strongest, you would have complete knowledge of those who flee from you now. It may be more convenient to those who have already reached a high level, but it detracts from maintaining interest in the feature, and will be forgotten as soon as finished if it is too easy.

Now, I'm no fan of extremes either, but I think about half an hour at each monster seems a fair time to hunt. What I remember hearing of was around 5 minutes. At the least, I'd like people to spend a day at each area of the Maple world exploring the content of the game before returning to default farm/grind mode.



Side Note: Still bitter about spending 8 months hunting ZMM for the card with no luck. >.> Selling stacks of 200 Poisonous Mushrooms in the MTS 5k NX each!! Get some NX Today! EDIT: lol, someone bought a stack.
