Ultimately, they all have strengths and weaknesses. Nothing is really better than the other, because they all can't do everything.
I'd like to add that one major reason to use Windows is content-wise products. Most popular apps support all three major OSes, but some of the more obscure ones stick to even the Internet Explorer 8-s, let alone Windows. If you want to play Maple, for example, one way or another you'll have to run Windows. "Middle of the road" computer is quite insulting for what Windows offers, in my opinion.
