You know what awesome idea Nexon will never implement? Make certain graphics / game mechanics only appear for you. Like, you can only see your ring effect, or only you can see your damage dealt to mobs. It's genius!

Seriously, who showed you up that you now feel the need to constantly downplay other people's damage?

Removing other people's damage won't stop the braggards and the idiots. They'll still be able to show off.
All it will do is make it impossible for PQs to make their runs more efficient.

You know what would be really nice?

Allow us to choose low-quality graphics not just for background, but for effects too.
You know all those new flashy highly-detailed skill animations? My computer can't take 'em, apparently. Either that or some kind of memory-leak type glitch is making it so I can no longer solo zakum, on a clean reboot, without it going transparent at second body, and half my dialogs being invisible by the time I'm done.

I agree. It's a tad stupid that the least bothersome/resource-killing graphics are the ones we can't change (not that it affects my comp).

In general though, Nexon just needs to clean up Maplestory's memory leaks.

So I guess there's no other way around that aside from getting a faster HDD then?

Lulz. They aren't saving to your HDD.
Also, speed isn't the issue.
