Compare Barack Obama's candidacy to JFK's and discuss the similarities, differences and implications.
Think about it. Both had little experience by the time they ran, both were Senators, (voting record makes it very hard for a Senator to be elected President,) were good at public speaking, and were "firsts" in running for President, (one black, one Catholic,) and they gave people "hope," whatever you might term that as.
JFK tried to assassinate the Cuban head of state, causing him to place Russian nukes on his territory, causing Bay of Pigs, nearly causing nuclear war. I am not so concerned about Obama's skin color as I am about his inexperience causing another Bay of Pigs.
