If its ever "Do this. XX" or "Do this to XX," it's almost always a cost.
The only exception that I know of is Fabled Raven, who's discard is an effect.
The problem was..
Brron attacks over Tengu and inflicts 100 damage.
Brrons effect activates to discard 1 card.
He discards a grapha, effect activates.
We were unsure whether or not grapha would be able to destroy tengu or if tengu would not be summoned yet for Grapha to destroy.
I'm pretty sure Grapha would activate to destroy after Tengu is summoned.
So I probably won't upload it.
Battle Step: Brron declares an attack on Tengu.
Sub-Step 4: Damage is applied and Tengu is considered "destroyed by battle."
Sub-Step 5: Brron's effect activates and discards Grapha.
Sub-Step 6: Grapha's effect resolves but has nothing to target since Tengu was destroyed by battle.
Sub-Step 7: Tengu is removed from the field and sent to to the graveyard. Tengu's effect activates.
