Doesn't work so easily the other way around. Girls are well protected behind the law and can thus toy with guys and simply drop them when they're tired of them, because if he keeps pressing she can destroy him with her words. The days of women's rights movements have come and gone. If this isn't true in Taiwan, you're more than welcome to move to Canada, where you will be given the same rights as men.
For your information, I live in Australia, Taiwan is just where I was born. The situation with gender in Western country law is just the consequences of hundreds of years of female oppression. I have been in court, and observed a few cases where the example you used applied. But that is just the idealism for what happens after the verdict, okay, so the guy was put away for a few years, or an court order was issued. So what? The truth is, if the guy is rotten enough, he's gonna come back and ruin her life. Hassle her, harass her, threaten her, kill her. No matter where you are, you think women are more protected by law, think again. The equity of gender these days are just an illusion, you think we are equal, but the fact is, we are not. My point holds true, I know someone who was used by her boyfriend for sex, without protection, then was silly enough to get abortion enough times she became permanently infertile at 22, nearly all Chinese students at my university knew about it. Life ruined, no? The guy gets away with it, because he didn't have to take responsibility. Responsibility taken by guys seems more like a privilege, not a right to be asked by the girl when a child is involved. No matter what you think, the fact is, women are still more disadvantaged in this society.

I do experience emotions as anyone else does, though I tend to act/react on them far less than most. This is because I've found that logical reasoning generally leads to better choices than just doing whatever my "heart tells me" at the time.
No sarcasm intended, we are only human, and mistakes are inevitable. If the whole world works on logic, it'll be a very different place. Not to mention totally boring. Yes, No, Cancel only works on computers, not human society.

Logically speaking, infatuation is like having a crush, its an obsession. It has potential to turn into love, but it is not love. Sound about right?
