Heroic City of Juarez

Yup, that's right, my hometown has officially changed it's name from 'Ciudad Juarez' to 'Heroica Ciudad Juarez'.

I'm just going to go ahead and facepalm for a while.

Are they hoping that due to all the comic book super hero vigilante movies around, some heroic people will start fighting crime for them if they subconciously plant the idea in their name? If so . . . that's actually pretty amusing . . . if not, so much fail. I lean towards the latter when politicians are involved . . . unless it's Lex Luthor in which case I think it's all part of his diabolical plan to make the city a laughingstock to ruin any such notions of said superheroes.
