I'd like to think it has something about business contract.
A user in Asiasoft TH forum, who seems to know what's he saying, said Asiasoft has to pay NexonKR for each patch they received in addition to publishing contract. And if it was something like this:
NexonKR: We revamped xxx map for BB. We DID some extra work there, so you need to pay extra for them too.
Asiasoft: what? pineapple that.
That would explain why did they let the place be before BB and remove to instantly when BB hit. I mean, places are known for being empty for a long time, no? If they didn't pay for each patch, they could as well just remove it anytime.
