I decided to skim other people's replies, it seems that they're giving you too much info, some of it being completely useless ESPECIALLY to a low level warrior. xD
Here's what I think. It seems to me that you're unfamiliar with warriors and aren't that serious in leveling it. Which means a few things, first you'll mess it up even if everyone and their mothers tried to help you with it, so don't strive for a perfect warrior. Second, you said that you had minimal funding for it, meaning you don't have the motivation nor interest to take your warrior seriously (Don't say you can't afford it. I've spent over 2 bill in meso on my warrior, no gach, and almost completely self funded. I borrowed money from friends, but I repaid most of it. Recently went back into debt for a 14 attack bwg). And finally, it appears that you're just trying something new, a job you haven't played before.
My advice, if you're interested in high level warriors just to play as one, private server. If you want a seriously good warrior on GMS, make a character your own way however the hell you want to make it. Let it flop. Let it be a piece of garbage char, seriously. Then re-make it. I can almost promise you that it's the best way to make a good char. You can't possibly make a great character of any job without first experiencing it yourself. Asking other people for their opinions is just that, their opinions. Some of them know what they're saying, but most don't. Personally I made an 80 dex warrior, then remade a 30 dex warrior, and reset it down to 23. As people said, low dex/dexless gear is available, but if a zhelm is a LONG term goal, dexless is out of the question. I had to get a zhelm and maple weapon just to push through to 3rd job.
@ whoever mentioned 147 being the magic number, that's for 4th job... he's not even 2nd job and you're giving him 4th job advice? =P 2nd jobbers need like 75 for their 3rd job advance, and 3rd job needs like 129 to train to 4th job... I'm not checking who said what so sorry if I'm being ambiguous, whoever mentioned they had 13x acc and can hit everything as a 4th jobber, that's great. Try training at Crimson Guardian or solo pap's 2nd form, you'll wish you had 147 x] It's not definitively required, but it helps in many cases. Also, for an end-game Hero, you'll actually want around 165 for the content that's in the game now. 165 however, does include buffs/pots/etc. so really 145 + bless could do it. 165's for monsters like cornian and horntail.
