Possible archer hero spoiled?

People have fun making stuff up, and unless they are incredibly stupid, they won't hope that it is actually like that in-game.

Don't underestimate the power of hype or group-think.
Consciously or not, it does have an effect on their reaction to actual content.

We made a ruckus because the arches is an elf. The only elf in maple was Athena Pierce.

I thought it was verified that Testonen was an elf.

Because a Nexon of America PR representative knows what Nexon Korea's plans for the rest of the year are, as early as late January (the time the Q/A session was conducted).

Now if only I had acknowledged that a representative from Nexon America may not be totally informed... OH WAIT! I TOTALLY DID!

Well, he/she/whatever-it-is is a developer, not just a PR employee (at least not exclusively).
Part of its job is knowing what is coming up in the development cycle.

Why wouldn't Nexon of America know what Nexon Korea had planned?
Nintendo of America knows pretty damn well what Nintendo of Japan has in the works (that's just one example of how a successful international company communicates).

Also, do you have any idea how much time it takes to develop game content?
I'll draw a picture for you:
The first public image of the Mechanic, found here, was seen in late April of last year.
The Mechanic class hit the test server in late July of the same year.
That's three whole months from what looks to be a near-finalized piece of in-game art to release.

If you think Nexon doesn't know it's going to release a new class at least half a year before it comes out, you're nuts.

Also, if you had been paying attention to the KMS anniversary events, Spadow showed a week and a half ago that the pirate girl has been named and turned into an actual NPC named Valerie. The extractions here show her as an NPC as well. In fact, before this event, her artwork has been used to represent female adventurer pirates since forever. Nothing new here.

My apologies; I'm not among those whose mouths are constantly at Spadow's crotch.

I did, however, know she was an NPC in whatever the bandstand thing is (I do pay attention to extractions).
I also knew that her artwork has represented female Adventurer pirates for quite a while.
That's exactly my point though: she's an unimportant character whose character art was pulled to fill a hole.

All I see is a video that needed five female characters for the choreography to work.
Elf-girl being there is as random as the pirate-girl being in the bandstand.
There's no emphasis put on her, she gets no more screen-time than anyone else, and there's no sort of "introduction" for her.
Pulling theories out of this is just as bad as trying to pull theories out of the Jump logo.
