Have you ever illegally downloaded a music file? Yes
If so then when did you start downloading music illegally? And how? (napster, limewire, various other ways)? Probably around 2003, started with Limewire and then moved to Ares.

How many albums were you buying, on average, per month? (Whether from paid download services such as Itunes, or buying cds from stores) I only bought about 2 different albums total before I started to pirate. More of a radio guy.
Roughly how many different artists were featured in your collection, how many different genres? 2 different artists, same genre.

How many albums or songs are you buying, and if so why do you choose to buy them when you can simply download them for free? None. Only if I receive an iTunes card as a gift or something and have extra leftover after purchasing apps.
Roughly how many different artists are featured in your collection, how many different genres? About 65-70 different artists, 7-8 different genres.

Would you say you listen to music more now than you did before illegal downloads? Yes

How acceptable is piracy to you? Pretty acceptable. I don't see it hurting artists that much, they still are making millions of dollars.
Why do you believe piracy is not seen as stealing by many people? Probably because most people see it as something that can't be stopped. If something is on the internet, nobody is going to be able to stop someone from copying it. It's like posting an image and asking people not to copy it and use it even though it's as simple as right clicking it, copying, and pasting into paint. I think it's seen more as sharing, than stealing.
Do you think piracy has, in anyway, changed the music industry for the better? Somewhat. In my opinion, piracy is one of the main sources for advertisement for a lot of artists.
