Might as well wait for a 121+atk VIP 1h, or whatever else 130+ comes out, I can't imagine the CS-protect scrolls will be cheap.

Plus... 5*9 = 45 scrolls per weapon, * 10000 = 450,000 maple leaves to perf. a weapon. Or 45*4 = 180 lv.64 maple weapons (assuming 5 coins per weapon)

Hopefully the maple weapons drop like crazy...

I'm not sure where your math for the leaves comes from, but I'd go with a CS for availability i.e. cost-effectiveness.
For one, we don't know when we'd get the boom-preventing scrolls, and, as you said, it'd cost a lot of money along the way to do so.

I wouldn't count on VIP weapons being re-released and am not one for eternally waiting to see what might come out in the future. Not in this game.
With that mindset, you should never, ever use any scrolls because something new will inevitably come out in KMS shortly after you scroll your perfect weapon.

In fact, the release cycle for Maplestory is one of the most frustrating things about the game and indeed the reason I've about given up on it. There's no thrill in anything that GMS gets when it is almost immediately trumped by something in KMS. I was going to start scrolling Red Katanas, but then the level 77 weapon shows up.

Still not worth perfecting a CS. You're just better off perfecting a 120-130 1h sword. Better DPM AND SI doesn't hurt it, unlike the lvl 77 Maple weapon.
