Search for a tool called AutoHotKey, download it, and learn how to bind another key to the 'Scroll Lock' button.
AutoHotKey is too complicated for me to explain, and I'm too lazy to explain. That should fix the problem if the problem is just that your scroll lock key isn't working very well.
