Hey i'm not saying we do nor am i advocating one side or the other. I'm just saying you can in fact cover up stink. It used to be common practice. Not that most of this topic isn't relative anyway.

What it seems like you took it as: a statement for all of history which i was using to prove a point? i don't know what you're getting at here i'm just saying the way it is isn't the way it always was. Also ancient rome = 1700s (ish) france now? I need to go edit some books i guess.
