Hex of the Beholder + Combat Orders = borked

Describe the problem. Be as specific as possible!:

So while I was with a random party at LHC, there was a Pally in my party that was casting Combat Orders. But I noticed something wrong: my Beholder wasn't buffing me every 12 seconds while Combat Orders was on (Hex of the Beholder). And it is somewhat of an annoying bug since I cannot be buffed with additional ATT from my Beholder.

Usually I would have a stack of 5 Hex of the Beholder buffs, but Combat Orders stopped the buffing sequence that Hex of the Beholder usually carries out
