It doesn't even matter much anyway. Pick up a Pidove, teach it fly, box it when you're done, etc etc
I was about to ask the same question..
Every Pokemon game I wind up teaching my party Flying Pokemon, Fly. So I guess I'll be doing the same, in this game.
